What a Long, Strange, Trip It’s Been……

I suppose I really should start writing on this thing again.

If you’ve found this page through unomavradio.com, welcome! I’ve spent a while working to get that page where it is now, and I’m glad that it’s working!

I’m writing this at work this evening. Work, for me, is editing newscasts at KETV in Omaha. Tonight is an easy night, as the Cornhuskers are playing Ohio State; makes my life easy, as I generally only edit news video.  I’ll try and update this page more often, but for now, welcome!

In the not too distant future….

In case anyone hasn’t had the chance to stumble across it, let me just say it right here and right now: go watch Mystery Science Theater 3000. I went on a stretch where I watched just about every single episode, and I can still turn out any one of them. However, it has one problem that many people will struggle with: It’s very difficult to quote. Not that it’s hard to remember the lines or anything, it’s just not easy to find situations where you can crack wise on Joe Don Baker or Sean Connery’s brother Neil. Anyhow, remember: Mystery Science Theater 3000- watch watch watch

And so it begins…

The story of this blog:

At the insistance of one Mr. Tom Early, I was urged to begin writing a blog that would be an easy way to share the things I find funny: tripe found on the internet, weird facts about musicians, and unusual stories reported and shared. To anyone who stumbles upon this first message, welcome. I make no promises about the frequency and logic of these widgets and knick-knacks, but I will certainly do my very best to make them as entertaining as possible.

Lest I forget, I should probably share the video that inspired my friend’s idea of me writing this story. Enjoy!
